AQUA KITTY UDX blasts onto Nintendo Switch in this enhanced Ultra Edition including an all new epic Dreadnought mode! You and your team of milk mining kittens have overcome a fear of water to drill down under the ocean seabed and begin extracting vast reserves of what seems to be naturally forming full-fat milk. Get ready for fast paced submarine action, defending the kittens from disruptive mechanical sea creatures. The additional Dreadnought mode takes you deep down into the Meowiana trench. There you must fly through and destroy huge multi-screen enemy craft, whilst rescuing imprisoned kittens.

Aqua Kitty UDX blends simple gameplay with modern visuals and an awesome soundtrack. Obviously with its silly name and premise it won’t appeal to everyone, but if you’re a shmup fan and want a simple and fun game to enjoy, then help these kitties harvest the much needed milk from the ocean floor right meow.

If you enjoy arcade shoot ‘em up games, Aqua Kitty UDX is an amusing title to have in your library that’ll test not only your maneuvering skills but also your shooting. Even with minor issues about the menu screen popping up during battle and lack of online co-op, the game is worth your time. The milk must flow! Aqua Kitty UDX is a robust arcade shooter with an adorable cat aesthetic. The game offers a good level of challenge and chaos to keep you on your toes. It's let down slightly by some uninspired backgrounds but offers lots of fun on the Nintendo Switch.

All told, Aqua Kitty UDX is a simple, satisfying arcade shooter that looks as great as it plays. It takes one concept, offers a few different angles on it, and ensures it fulfills all that it sets out to do. We’d give this one a strong recommendation to anyone looking for a game that’s easy to pick up and play, this is pure, arcade fun. This is also a one trick pony, though, which means that those of you that aren’t big on score chasing games will want to steer clear. Even so, Aqua Kitty UDX is a game that exemplifies the concept of less is more; we’d encourage you to give this one a look.
