There's no world to explore, battles are as hard as they are dull, the narrative barely progresses, and the game as a whole is far too time-consuming for its format. It sounds and feels cool to have a sort of all-star Atelier game in your pocket, but in the end it reveals itself to be so greedy that I no longer think I could enjoy it even if I paid a moderate amount.
