Creatures of Ava surprised me with a vast and beautiful world, an exciting take on pacifism, and great characters. A game about exploration, conservation, and wonder, you’re sure to enjoy your visit to Ava. Remember to take lots of pictures.

Creatures of Ava will, without a doubt, go above and beyond to get you hooked on its story and visuals, but it’ll just keep adding on as you explore and see more of Ava. Between the already stunning visuals and inspired music, it’s already set up to be amazing, but it keeps getting better as you progress. While there are some really small issues, they’re easily overlooked, even more so with the fact that you can pet/hug all the creatures.

Creatures of Ava is a great game for those looking to explore a new world in an exciting way. The graphics and sound make the world feel real and add so much immersion to the game. The story is also simple enough to allow you to jump in and out of the game, which is great for a relaxing game you may want to play for just an hour at a time rather than all at once. The gameplay is engaging and the “combat” is really fun, particularly the mini-games to tame creatures with the flute.

For players who are looking for a game that is simple to pick up and play, with easy combat then we would certainly recommend Creatures of Ava. However, if you prefer your action adventure games to be heavier on the action with a larger area to explore then you may want to look for another planet to play on.

Creatures of Ava is a deeply human game about monsters on an alien planet. Its themes of empathy and acceptance shine brightly, setting itself apart from similar titles. It manages to deliver a thoughtful message about acceptance and living in harmony while also being something I can play to kick back and relax after a long day.
