CRITIK
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is the final game in the series of Harry Potter movie adaptations. It closely follows the plot of the movie of the same name. The game is a single-player third person shooter, with magic spells substituting weapons. The game resembles its predecessor in most aspects, but the stealth sections from the previous game are omitted. The cover system has been tweaked. In different levels the player controls various characters from Harry Potter movies including Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Professor McGonagall and others.

The Harry Potter film tie-ins end on a low note with this short, tedious, and conceptually vapid cover shooter. The Good - Ability to switch between spells lends variety to later levels. The Bad - Conceptually ridiculous - Exceptionally tedious - Incredibly short, with little replay value - Fails to capture the tension and excitement of the novels. Question: When is a wand no longer wand? Answer: When it's a gun.

For fans of gaming, stay well clear. Even as far as movie-tie-ins go, this title is the biggest crime to the Harry Potter franchise since Emma Watson decided looking like a public schoolboy is sexy. Top Game Moment: You know what, I don't think there was one... It seems, no matter how loony they get, Potter fans can't be fooled.
