Hunting Simulator 2 is an addictive open-world game, but it may have limited appeal due to its genre. For - Gorgeous visuals - Accessible shooting mechanics - Weapon variety - Animal variety Against - Limited appeal due to genre - Runs at 30 FPS on Xbox One X Hunting Simulator 2 objectives and shooting Hunting Simulator 2 is exactly what the name suggests.

Real-life hunters should appreciate Hunting Simulator 2. Virtual hunters may sometimes find themselves in want, as this game can straddle the line between relaxing and dull. But it should grow on you, as your canine companion also grows beside you. You’ll develop “nerves of steel, and an incredible amount of patience.” Be prepared to invest a lot of time to get the most out of this entertaining if uneven offering, though. Keep an eye out for some DLC as well. Review: Hunting Simulator 2 (Nintendo Switch) Good Real-life hunters should appreciate Hunting Simulator 2.

The maps are huge, and have points of interest to discover littered throughout. Really the only obstacle for enjoyment is your own patience and just how much time you’re willing to spend doing all the less-than-thrilling activities.
