If you had any love for Konosuba!, then you’re going to want to pick up this game. If you’re looking for a hilarious tale that is as lewd as it is self-aware, you’ll want this game. If you were wondering if there was an anime quartet that splits the difference between Three’s Company, It’s Always Sunny, and Seinfeld, then this is your game. Love For These Clothes Of Desire might be just an excuse to create more fan service, but they created it in a damn fine way, and, in the process, have created a brand new Konosuba fan.

Those who loved the anime will probably adore KONOSUBA - God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love For These Clothes Of Desire!, too. There isn't much of a story or gameplay to speak of, but there are plenty of pleasant moments filled with a delightful cast of protagonists and lots of entertainment. Fans of KONOSUBA can expect a great deal of it in this game. However, those hoping for an attempt at genre subversion involving Megumin, Aqua, or Darkness in swimwear or maid outfits will likely be disappointed.

Although the overall risks of the narrative are pretty low, and even the gameplay feels laidback, the dialogue and interactions of each character shine and are solely worth the playthrough just for that. If you are an avid follower of the series, then your enjoyment will only multiply. KONOSUBA is a very popular anime that deserves a comical and authentic video game adaptation, and that’s exactly what this game is.

It’s a really good adaptation of the anime and it’s original content that’s not seen in the anime so it’s the equivalent of seeing a few extra episodes. This game feels like an actual extension of the anime and would serve as a great collectible for an anime or game fan if you get the physical copy.

Konosuba was a fun project for PQube to localise. It – like the material it’s based on – is by no means classic, but it’s playful, and often laugh-out-loud funny, even if there are times that you wish you didn’t find it quite as amusing as you did.
