Monster Energy Supercross is a visually impressive and accurate reflection of what supercross racing is about. It caters for players looking for an arcade-ish game where they can just jump straight in and race, as well as for the supercross fan who is looking to indulge their inner supercross champion. Aside from the slightly superficial customisation and career progression, Monster Energy Supercross is a must for any motocross game fanatic or anyone looking for a challenging and realistic supercross experience. Loves games with deep character development and a rich storyline.

Another cool feature is the track surface. It is fully deformable meaning that the dirt surface changes consistency when it gets wet. The physics dynamics of driving on a dry surface versus blasting and sliding through mud changes your approach to racing on a track. It’s a lot of fun and both Monster and Milestone can be happy with what they’ve come up with here.

Developer Milestone S.r.l. has been making racing games for so long, it comes as no surprise how nicely Monster Energy Supercross turned out. From the detail in the dirt, to the details in the bikes, this is not only a great looking game, but a great racing game too. Monster Energy Supercross review code provided by publisher.

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame is the focused and highly-energetic brother to MXGP, and is helped by the licensing of Monster Energy. The look and feel of the game is unmatched, and while the performance could use some tweaking, the game is just fun to dig grooves into the dirt. I’m not sure what could be done to improve what Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame brings to the table, but Milestone has their work cut out for them for such a strong first entry.
