Obakeidoro! is an asymmetric action game in which three humans face off against one monster. As a human, use your Lantern Attack to fend off the monster. If you time it just right, you might be able to turn the tides in your favor. As the monster, utilizing your powerful skills is the key to your victory. Use skills like "glide" and "track" to capture the humans. Can you escape the monster? Can you hunt down the humans? Obakeidoro! is a game of cat and mouse that the whole family will enjoy!

OBAKEIDORO! is a fantastic, family-friendly version of Dead by Daylight that just about anyone will find addicting. At first, I thought I’d only want to play it for a round or two, but I found myself unable to put down my Switch until several hours later. OBAKEIDORO!’s charm is in its deceptive simplicity — there are so many little balancing acts happening at once that melt together into pure casual, spooky fun. Bet you can’t play just one round of OBAKEIDORO!; once you’ve entered this creepy cute world, you’re here forever!

Obakeidoro is a party game that is based on the traditional Japanese game Keidoro (also like the American game Manhunt). In Keidoro, there are two roles: police and thief. Obakeidoro takes this principle and expands upon it. Instead of thieves and police, I got to play as either monsters or people. It is still a tag game, and I had to evade or chase my enemies based on my assigned role. Did this title have me sitting on the edge of my seat orr was I ready to walk away? Find out in this Rapid Review. Spirited Away To begin the game, I was surprised to watch a detailed cutscene about the circumstance of the tag game.
