Ori and Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch and is a must-own. It’s an exceptional Metroidvania that successfully blends elements of the platforming genre to create an experience unlike any other. With beautiful visuals, an imaginative setting, flawless gameplay, charming characters, powerful soundtrack, and an emotional narrative, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is one of the best games in the Nintendo Switch software library.

At its core, the port of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is a masterpiece. While it does not bring anything new to the game that does not already exist on the Xbox One and PC, it translates perfectly onto our favorite portable consoles. Now someone needs to convince Microsoft to also port the upcoming sequel without waiting another four years. 5 Out Of 5 Stars A copy of Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition was purchased by TheGamer for this review.

Overall, I can honestly say that I would recommend this game to anyone. It's easy and simple enough for younger kids to enjoy, but also has enough subtleties and innovative gameplay that even the most core gamers would enjoy it. It's truly a unique game in this sense, and though I feel that I personally fall into many categories as a gamer, Ori and the Blind Forest satisfied all of them thoroughly.
