He's a plumber, she's a daddy's girl. Only you can get them together, or tear them apart! Plumbers have everything: Greed, sex, spirituality, white-knuckle chases, shameful propositions, a nun, humor, true love, jaded love, jealousy, taut action, comedy, a bad guy, a good guy, a hero, spine-tingling suspense, a hot babe, brazen bravado, a damsel in distress, and a Hollywood ending! Plays like a game... feels like a movie!

Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition is a brave, admirable release, and I implore Limited Run Games to continue to do the diligence of not simplifying video game history. Some are good, some are bad, and some are ugly. This one just happens to be as bad as they come, and that’s amazing. Don’t pretend to like it, it won’t win you any awards. But you can appreciate it and the mission to keep it known, and that, in and of itself, is worth investing in.

If you have ever been curious or wanted to try one of the worst games ever made, then it might be finally time to play Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties. The Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition makes what was one of the worst games ever made into a fun and comical experience. The $19.99 asking price might be high for some, but the work Limited Run Games has done to remaster the game and preserve it makes it worth the price.

Plumber’s Don’t Wear Ties might actually be the worst video game ever. But it’s still worth checking out to laugh at. It’s also an important part of videogame history, and shows how North American developers were banging out garbage in hopes of blind purchases, and rental store purchases. This reason almost caused a market crash in the 1990s, just like the video game market crash of the 1980s, but Japanese consoles, and a handful of North American PC developers kept the market afloat. It’s hard to score Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition. But if you’re at all curious, I urge you to buy it to support Limited Run Games, and video game preservation in general. It’s a must play for any fans of media that’s “so bad it’s hilarious”. I loved experiencing this awful game so much that I bought a physical copy.
