Start a dimension-jumping adventure with Quby! In a universe, dimensions are connected to each other. In the center of the passages lies Dimensional Core, keeping the balance between dimensions. This balance began to collapse when the Core stopped working. Unless someone gives a helping hand, soon the universe will follow. The Gate doesn't let anyone into the Dimensional Core. But Quby, as the last descendant of Chosen Ones, can access the Gate. To restore the balance between dimensions, Quby opens a portal to the Gate. With Varon, the talking penguin, she must explore the long-forgotten ruins of her ancestors and find a way to reactivate the Core. Let the journey begin!

QV is one of those games that ticks all the right boxes for its particular niche. As an isometric puzzle platformer, there’s little else like it at the moment, and so it manages to have an audience even among so many video game releases. It’s a comfortable and well-designed puzzle romp complemented by some genuinely catchy tunes. The general vibe of it is charming and relaxing. It has something for everyone, whether you’re a puzzle fan or simply curious to try something different as a breather between the bigger releases. This post may contain Amazon affiliate links.

It may be simple and laidback but there's no denying just how magical QV is with its satisfying puzzles and adorable game world.QV gameplay video → YesterMorrow Review Xbox One ★★★☆☆ Time travelling through a 2D world is definitely a promising premise but does YesterMorrow offer worthwhile platforming gameplay? YesterMorrow is yet another simple and easy breezy game that's quite typical of a 2D platformer as it doesn't really do anything particularly new and exciting with its core gameplay.

QV is an enjoyable puzzler packed full of content. If you can cope with the slow paced movement, it throws enough new obstacles at you to keep things fresh from start to finish.

Filled with humour and mystery QV is a fine puzzle addition to Nintendo Switch. Quby's inquisitive nature coupled with her determination to make friends no matter how spikey the personality is makes playing as her a joy. This is accessible for all players no matter their puzzle ability, and there are hours to be spent figuring out how to get Quby to each gate, avoiding environmental traps, as well as enemies who will chase her. This isn't over once the story is completed. There are seventy nine achievements to unlock for completionists, an extra difficult level, and it is easy to want to re-experience levels simply for the fun of being with the charming Quby again. Apart from occasional levels that seemed set at the wrong difficulty for both the difficulty setting and the point in the game, QV is a must-play for all puzzle enthusiasts.

Obviously, there’s nothing groundbreaking going on here, and despite the talk of Chosen Ones saving the world, QV never feels all that weighty. But it doesn’t really need to. It’s a simple puzzle game that offers a few hours of fun, and sometimes that’s all you need.
