Sacred made me forget how disappointed I have been with many RPG’s over the last few years, was wonderful to play, and provided many hours RPG paradise. Just look above to see all the reasons I came to this conclusion. Nevertheless, given some of the technical problems afflicting some users, I would not purchase Sacred unless I had at least the recommended system levels.

Sacred sets out to be little more than you’re typical hack and slash feast but with gorgeous graphics and a storyline/sound effects to match, but why shouldn’t we all devour it anyway? So what if Sacred achieves most of this by borrowing every single idea from Classics like Diablo, and the not so classics like “Blade and Sword”.

Its massive world, open-ended feel, deep arsenal, vast array of quests, epic story, good graphics/sound and addictive combat adds up to a game worth buying. It lacks some polish but the developers seem hard at work on rectifying that.

While it had many elements that were highly familiar to me, there were enough unique elements to keep the game fresh and fun. Horse combat, the combo system, and a near fully explorable world from the start managed to keep me entertained a lot longer than other Diablo clones.
