Swim Out is a fun puzzle game with a minimalist art style that is easy to recommend. There’s a lot of content to enjoy in this one, and the game’s look, and the way background noise makes you feel as if you were actually in a public pool, will help to keep you focused in each of the multi-part puzzles you’ll need to solve.

While cool concepts and ideas are awash throughout Swim Out, the dawdling pace of the 100+ puzzles drowns the more novel ideas. This is, for better or worse, an alright puzzle game that just happens to be in a sea of better ones. Good for a laidback romp, but not for much else.

Swim Out for Nintendo Switch certainly won't rock the world in terms of its originality; however, it is definitely good at doing what it does, which is to combine great, pick-up-and-play puzzle gameplay, along with a very relaxing, summer atmosphere that will keep gamers looking for some pleasing entertainment more than satisfied.
