This is a very different game, something that I wouldn’t find copied or made by another. As it’s all hand-drawn and the storyline is not very large or similar to any other game as well. The worlds you visit are very interesting and each has these individual sounds that play like music notes, as you bounce and float into different objects. It’s quite interesting and fun to achieve when roaming and exploring the levels for your friends. Lastly, the game to me felt quite easy, relaxing, and just plain fun! It might not be super long or take much use of the brain, but it is something that will keep you calm and entertained as you rescue your friends.

Ynglet is an ideal game to pick up if you’re looking for a relaxing gaming experience, with a beautiful soothing soundtrack and striking art style. If you’re looking for that good Zen gaming experience after a hard day’s work or you just need to dial down those stress levels for a bit, Ynglet is a gaming meditation session worth playing.

Ynglet is truly a unique game that needs to be played to experience its obscure but entrancing design, which players may not understand at first, but will find themselves drawn in and still playing long after questioning what it was to begin with. Ynglet will take you on a spiritual journey unlike anything else.

It’s a triumphant study in how to explore and exhaust the creative possibilities within a set of tightly defined creative parameters.

It’s a shame for something so beautiful and pure to leave me so emotionally cold, but it’s a tight, wholly unique platformer nonetheless. At five dollars, it’s an easy game to recommend… just a difficult game to truly love. Disclosures: This game is developed by Nifflas and published by Triple Topping.
