Anno 2070 is a city-building and economic simulation game, with real-time strategy elements. It is the 5th game of the Anno series. It was released on 17 November 2011, and was co-developed by the German studios Related Designs and Ubisoft Blue Byte, and published by Ubisoft. Anno 2070 requires Uplay to operate.

While it may bewilder players new to the genre with the sheer complexity of it all, Anno 2070 succeeds at giving the decade-old series a fantastic makeover. Fans of the franchise will feel right at home as the formula hasn’t changed all that much, but the myriad additions and improvements have been expertly crafted to fit right into the core gameplay.
