Batora: Lost Haven isn’t a perfect game, but it is one I’m ultimately glad exists. Like Avril, the title grows on you if you give it a chance. There’s no denying that the game has some hurdles from time to time while playing, and they’ll undoubtedly take a while to get past. Still, that sense of accomplishment after overcoming them is addicting in itself, which might make Batora’s challenges all the more enticing.

Batora: Lost Haven is a cracking adventure boasting a powerful character driven story. Despite simple and sometimes unvaried gameplay, there’s enough here to keep you invested until this tale’s conclusion.

Batora: Lost Haven's consistently challenging battles and puzzles are rewarding and its game-altering decisions are the icing on the cake.Batora: Lost Haven gameplay video → Cult of the Lamb Review Xbox Series X ★★★★☆ Here's a game that you probably heard of and seen your favourite Twitch streamers play; I'm talking about the nutty Cult of the Lamb. For the unfamiliar: Cult of the Lamb is played in 2 parts.

Batora: Lost Haven is a thrilling romp of fast-paced carnage. The combat system is a blast and left me constantly engaged, gripping my total and utter attention. Once beaten, I immediately hopped back into New Game+ for another round. Somewhat unexpectedly, enemies scaled to my level, maintaining that challenge – unfortunately, the seemingly suicidal AI brought about waves of irritation.

With its combat forcing you to move between a twin-stick shooting style and slashing, Batora manages to keep itself interesting and varied This is a game I played a while back tied to a Steam Next Fest that looked like it had promise, and I’m glad to see that on release it has gotten some additional refinement.
