Blazing Beaks is one of the Switch’s hidden eShop gems. Regardless of the potentially steep learning curve, the game always leads to lots of laughs. It’s best played with a group of friends to get the most enjoyment out of all the content that the game has to offer. If Blazing Beaks even remotely catches your eye, it is well worth a purchase.

Blazing Beaks is a crazy adventure where you'll find yourself fighting monsters and searching for artifacts. There's an endless line-up of enemies for you to shoot and blast through. A cute and charming world that increases in difficulty, and as you progress through the levels you’ll be hallmarked with plenty of surprises.

There may be many twin-stick roguelikes but very few are as enjoyable as Blazing Beaks with its charming visuals and tight gameplay.Blazing Beaks gameplay video → Similar game: Nuclear Throne Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut Review Switch ★★★★☆ If you have fond memories of games like Omega Boost and Colony Wars then Strike Suit Zero will feel right at home. I originally played Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut on PlayStation 4 about 5 years ago and remember it being a fun game.

Blazing Beaks was a nice little surprise and I thoroughly recommend it for fans of the genre. It loses a few points in my eyes for a rather bland soundtrack and a complete lack of narrative. Overall, though, it’s a fun little game and worthy to sit among the others.
