Neon Chrome
Neon Chrome is a ruthless top-down cyberpunk shooter with rogue-like elements. The game takes place inside an arcology – a massive sci-fi mega structure. Every gaming session is different as large parts are randomly generated. Blast your way through walls with guns and cybernetic abilities and try alternate approaches with different roles like the Hacker or the Cyber Psycho. Upgrade your character stats, discover new cybernetic enhancements and build up strength to finally stop the Overseer. Every death is a new beginning – the path to stopping the Overseer is never the same.

As long as you can look past a few design flaws and don’t mind slightly dated graphics, Neon Chrome is a game for anyone who wants strategy and destruction in a single package.

Neon Chrome, is a superbly challenging, but rewarding experience. It may not be the prettiest game, but with it’s addictive RPG mechanics, large variety of strategic options in both roles and weapons, and fantastic cyberpunk atmosphere, I can wholeheartedly recommend Neon Chrome to anyone who might be interested in giving it a try. Overall, Neon Chrome possesses such a level of quality to every gameplay element that comparisons can unbelievably be drawn to an enhanced Alien Breed and Crusader: No Remorse, therefore Neon Chrome is highly recommended and is now without doubt 10Tons’ best game, especially to fans of top-down shooters and 10Tons’ previous best game Crimsonland. Neon Chrome is a brilliant title that has plenty of content packed into it with well-designed gameplay mechanics at work to give players a solid title. Though playing in docked mode has a number of minor issues that can be overlooked, the game is a blast to play in handheld mode. If you are looking for an engaging and challenging title you and pick up and play on the go then look no further than Neon Chrome.

If you enjoy other rogue-likes or roguelites, there’s a very good chance you’ll enjoy Neon Chrome. Even if you tend to play a lot of twin-stick shooters but avoid anything with the word ‘rogue’ in the description, I highly recommend Neon Chrome.
