You’ll have a blast however you approach it. Organic Panic (Reviewed on Xbox One) This game is great, with minimal or no negatives. I really liked Organic Panic not least for its whimsy and lack of pretension.

Organic Panic introduces a well-designed war between Meat & Cheese and Fruit & Vegetables. Deceivingly difficult, this game is as time consuming and entertaining as it is frustrating to advance.W

Given the number of indie titles available these days, Organic Panic! does enough to deserve a place near the top of the pile as it’s more than just another platformer; it’s inventive, amusing and a joy to play.

Playing with others is definitely the way to go, but if you want to kill a few hours here or there, Organic Panic is the perfect time-waster.

Although it can be frustrating, I had a good time with Organic Panic.

The gameplay which I would say is part platformer, part destruction, part puzzler, all feels rather well done. The interface is a little basic, the story is throw away, and at times and the screen tearing can drive me absolutely bonkers when it happens. Otherwise I found an extremely enjoyable and unique title. The combination of all the fruits and veggies really gave way to an experience I thought was originally going to come off extremely tame or very basic, and instead I walked away absolutely delighted and charmed.

When Organic Panic is operating as a pure puzzler, it's an absolute delight. Unfortunately, though, the clever brainteasers crafted by Last Limb are frequently interrupted by clumsy and frustrating combat sequences.

There are minor issues that make the game feel as if it is trying to check too many boxes instead of showcasing what it does best. The overall plot and the character abilities are definite high points, the platforming mechanics are tight and control well, and the puzzles are good even though they lack variety. The action piece does not fit and hurts the full potential of this generally solid game. If you are a fan of the puzzle platformer genre, Organic Panic should not be missed.
