FOOLISH SAMURAI! Welcome back a true legend, a hero with a sword, here to defeat the evil demon Aku. In this third-person action and adventure, you will play the legendary Samurai Jack from the famous cartoon by Adult Swim. You are blasted back into the past, and it is up to Jack to find his way back as he ventures through locations and enemies beyond belief to save the future. You Will Not Win Aku! You will have to fight through hordes of relentless different enemies such as the robot beetles and robot alligators, to the Imankandi, a breed of noble warriors, to the minions of Aku himself.

Sure, at its core, Battle Through Time is a retelling of the TV series with some deviations, but it absolutely nails what makes Samurai Jack a modern animated masterpiece, and it was a delightful surprise to play through. Welcome back, Jack. Parents: According to the ESRB, this game is rated T for Blood and Violence.

When all is said and done, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is a wonderful game. It’s humorous, nostalgic, and something I would recommend to both existing fans and new ones alike. While there is a lot to be gained when you already know the story, prior knowledge isn’t necessary and I can easily see this title making new Jack fans out of many players. By nailing nearly every element, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is just the game I was looking for. Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is available now on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time - 8.5/10 TL;DR When all is said and done, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is a wonderful game.
