Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is a boss battler action-RPG. Face eight abhorrent bosses, the first seven each based on one of the deadly sins. Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is without mercy. Instead of getting stronger you get weaker, taking on deadly enemies to rid the world of sin. It's a challenging and sometimes infuriating gauntlet that requires you to think twice about your actions. Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption has you taking control of Adam, a soldier who has committed monstrous crimes and is now seeking redemption by taking out deadly enemies based on the seven deadly sins.

Sinner draws inspiration from several existing titles, but stands apart with its unique approach to development by incentivizing the player to become better, instead of merely improving a character’s skill set.

Overall though, Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption was a pleasure and a breath of fresh air for the style. While I absolutely love the Souls Series, Bloodborne and The Surge, not having to deal with the environments and instead having all of the effort put into epic boss fights made for a lot of fun and frustration that comes with having to learn and adapt that quickly to rapidly changing situations.
