Spacejacked is a wonderful combination of tower defense and fast paced action. The game's hectic nature along with the necessity to plan out your defenses makes for a fun and engaging challenge. It may take some trial and error to find what works best for each player, but that's part of the fun.

Spacejacked on Xbox One manages to deliver a great blend of a tower defence-style game with platforming elements and some resource management twists. Getting the right combination of turrets in the right places to stymie the invading aliens is great fun, and this is the first Ratalaika game where I haven’t come to review it and said “Yeah, but once all the achievements have been unlocked…”.

Similar to a classic arcade game but made better, Spacejacked is extremely addicting and delightfully frustrating. It is one of those games where you want to keep playing, and even though I am terrible at the Challenge Mode, I found myself trying over and over again with different tactics and strategies.

Spacejacked is an impressive action-packed indie tower defense game that's full of delightful charm. If that sounds like your kind of game then do yourself a favour and give it a download. You definitely won't regret it.

Spacejacked turns the tower defense genre upside down and also manages to toss quite a bit of challenge into the mix. If you’re looking to get your butt kicked a few times, Spacejacked is for you.
