The game is definitely an incremental step forward for the series, and not a revolutionary one. However, my job is to judge the game as an individual title, and in that respect Call of Duty: World at War is another outstanding addition to the series. The single-player campaign, while short, is a terrific wrap-up of everything players have loved about the Call of Duty series since it debuted.

The single-player isn't as compelling as Modern Warfare but it's still worth playing nonetheless; the best part though is that there's a deep and satisfying multiplayer component waiting for you when you're done.
