The Neptunia series of games continues to provide excellent games, this latest entry rising to be one of my favourites in a series I already rank above most others. The roster of characters we all love is present herein, and the action gameplay is a nice change of pace while waiting for the next main series entry. Though I, for one, am eagerly anticipating the next spin-off game, Superdimension Neptune vs Sega Hard Girls.

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune Vs Zombies offers plenty of content that will keep players happy for hours. The game is very fun, and the comedy is first class. The story is over the top as expected. The number of characters to choose from is amazing, and there is certainly a favorite for everyone. The control scheme was really the only gripe I had but I ended up getting the hang of things. I very much enjoyed writing myMegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies review, and I hope you enjoy playing this portable zombie hack and slash release!

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies may not be the best game in the Neptunia series, but it is certainly the quickest paced and most action packed of any title. It is a more fitting format for what the game wants to accomplish, and this comes through with cleaner transition from battle to cutscene and vice versa, large and open battles, and a character selection variety that allows you to explore the cast better than ever. Fun, creative, and only a little monotonous, MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies is a top notch game worthy of a look.

It’s not a perfect game by any means, but if you need your cute-girls-destroying-monsters fix, you can’t go wrong with MegaTagmension. ~ Final Score: 8/10 ~ Review copy provided by Idea Factory International for Vita.

It really is kind of amazing to see how far the Netpunia games have come over the years, from niche RPG titles that saw releases every now and then, to not only having regular releases in the main franchise, but a series of interesting spinoffs as well. MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies is the latest such example, and it works really well - when it is working. There is a lot to like about this title, which is very similar to the previously released and thoroughly enjoyable Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed - another Neptunia title that took characters from the traditionally RPG series and planted them firmly in an action hack n' slash title. The story is pretty basic stuff as Blanc and her friends decide that in order to help Gamicademi gain a little more notoriety, they should make a zombie movie.

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies is a welcome spin-off of the Hyperdimension series.

Overall, Megatagmension Blanc + Neptunia VS Zombies is a silly, short hack’n’slash visual novel-esque game that’ll entertain you if you’re into cutesy girls doing cutsey, random things in a school environment – If you’ve had exposure to the Megadimension universe before, into anime such as K-ON or Lucky Star, or are just looking for something different to shake up your Hack’nSlash life, certainly pick up this game. If, however, you’re a newcomer to these types of games, visual style, or haven’t played a Megadimension game before…I would say there’s better out there.
